One of our earliest Webflow builds — we helped The Graphic Edge bring a custom t-shirt designer online by bridging design and dev for one of the Midwest’s largest apparel companies.
Before Webflow had all the bells and whistles, we were already pushing it to the limit. For The Graphic Edge — then the largest custom apparel brand in the Midwest — we built a Webflow-powered interface for their online designer that scaled with their business and streamlined the design-to-production pipeline.
This project wasn’t just about a cool website — it was about bridging design and development in a way that helped The Graphic Edge digitize one of the most complex aspects of their business. We worked directly with their IT team and full-stack devs to design a Webflow front end that integrated with a custom t-shirt designer, allowing customers to build, preview, and submit custom orders directly to production.
This project occurred before Webflow had most of its current integrations and backend flexibility. We had to be creative, using it as a visual framework and rapid prototyping tool while feeding data into their proprietary backend.
It was scrappy, smart, and ultimately helped their dev team ship faster and better, all while delivering a beautiful UX.
The online t-shirt designer allowed users to select styles, upload logos, add text, and preview live mockups, then push directly into The Graphic Edge’s ordering system. This full-loop experience was a game-changer in the apparel space.
Webflow provided the flexibility to mock, test, and hand off in ways that saved weeks of miscommunication between designers and developers.
The site may not exist today, but its impact was significant, helping The Graphic Edge digitize a key part of their business and stay ahead in custom apparel.
