Own the map pack. Win the 3-mile radius.
For service businesses — trades, medical, legal — the map pack is where leads live. We optimize Google Business Profile, citations, reviews, and localized content until you're the top pin.
We focus on what Google actually ranks locally.
National SEO is a different sport. Local map pack rankings are about proximity, relevance, and prominence — and we tune all three.
Dinko's local SEO approach
- GBP fully optimized + posted to weekly
- Review generation system (not buying)
- Citation audit + cleanup (100+ directories)
- Location pages with real, local content
- Monthly map-pack rank tracking
Typical "local SEO" packages
- Mass citation submission to junk directories
- Purchased / incentivized reviews (TOS violation)
- AI-spun "location pages" with no real info
- No GBP activity beyond initial setup
- "Rankings" reported for non-local keywords
Six levers. We pull all of them.
Local SEO is plural. Miss any one of these and the needle doesn't move.
1 · Google Business Profile
Full optimization — categories, services, attributes, products, posts. Monthly GBP activity is our #1 ranking lever.
- Full profile audit & cleanup
- Weekly GBP posts
- Q&A monitoring
- Photo cadence (4+/mo)
2 · Review Generation
System for asking customers for reviews at the right moment. No fakes, no incentives, no TOS violations.
- Review-request automation
- SMS + email templates
- Response management (all reviews)
- Negative-review triage protocol
3 · Citation Management
NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across 100+ directories. We clean first, then build.
- Audit of current citations
- Cleanup of bad / duplicate data
- Build-out across tier-1 directories
- Quarterly NAP audit
4 · Location Pages
One page per service area. Real content — team, pricing, local landmarks — not AI-spun fluff.
- Interview-based content
- Local schema markup
- Embedded reviews + photos
- Drive-time + service-area maps
5 · Local Link Building
Chamber of Commerce, local sponsorships, press. Real links from businesses in your town.
- Chamber + BBB placements
- Local press outreach
- Sponsorship strategy
- Partner-exchange coordination
6 · Reporting & Tracking
Monthly rank tracking at neighborhood level — not just "Sarasota" but grid-point rankings across the city.
- Map-pack grid rankings
- Call + form-fill tracking
- GBP insights breakdown
- Monthly strategy call
Businesses that live or die by the map pin.
Chiropractors, roofers, remodelers, landscapers, and storefronts — the kind of businesses where a map pin is the front door. Click any of them for the full case study.
Why the 3-mile radius beats a national keyword.
What actually decides who shows up in Google's map pack? Three things, and Google names them plainly: proximity, relevance, and prominence. Proximity is where the searcher is standing — you can't change it, but you can change how many neighborhoods you're credibly near. Relevance is whether your Google Business Profile categories, services, and description match what was typed. Prominence is everything Google reads about you elsewhere: reviews, citations, local links, and the content on your own site. Most local SEO fails because the agency pulls one lever — usually citations — and calls it a strategy.
The fastest payback is almost always the Google Business Profile itself, and it's the piece most businesses never finish. Your primary category carries more weight than your secondary ones, so choosing "Chiropractor" over "Wellness Center" changes which searches you're eligible for at all. Services and products have to be entered by hand — Google does not read them off your website. Photos, posts, and Q&A are freshness signals, which is why we post weekly instead of quarterly. And NAP — Name, Address, Phone — has to match across 100+ directories, because one stale suite number from an old move is exactly what a competitor with cleaner data beats you with.
Radius is the part nobody explains. A Sarasota pin does not rank the same way three towns over, which is why proximity gets attacked with content instead of wishful thinking. Each market gets a page of its own — Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice — written with real local detail, not a find-and-replace on the city name.
Local SEO is the Visibility pillar of the Trust System™, and it compounds hardest when the rest of the stack holds. The map pack sends people; the site still has to convert them, which is why organic SEO for the blue links under the map is usually bought alongside it. Not sure which of the three — proximity, relevance, or prominence — is costing you? The free local-SEO audit scores your profile, your citations, and your review velocity, and tells you honestly whether you need six months of work or one afternoon of cleanup.

Map pins that moved.
“Dinko over delivered for my website design and build in every way possible. The process was smooth and efficient. Dinko not only helped create a great looking website but more importantly one that performs great for speed and SEO. I went from 200 keywords to 330 keywords in just over a week from launching the new site. My website is converting more leads than ever!
“I recently went through a renaming and rebranding phase with my business and wanted a new website to go along with it. I am a chiropractor and have several colleagues who've used Dinko Design for their websites and SEO. His work looked great, so I reached out to him. I used to have to rely heavily on social media alone for nearly all of my clientele. Since Dinko took over, my website has already gained significantly more traction and views, my phone is ringing more often, and I am very happy with his work thus far!
“Dinko is an excellent designer of websites. His attention to details is obvious. I recommend him to you to design or elevate your website.
