Bold, raw, and intentionally offbeat — ALT Magazine needed branding and a website that matched its edgy voice. We built an editorial-forward digital experience that felt like flipping through the pages of culture itself.
ALT isn’t your average lifestyle mag. It’s unapologetically creative and deeply rooted in the local art, fashion, and underground scenes. Our role was to shape its visual identity and create a launch-ready Webflow site that could evolve with each new issue — all while keeping things gritty, minimal, and editorial.
We developed a brand identity rooted in bold typography, unconventional grids, and a heavy use of black and white space. The logo was designed to be timeless and flexible, with subtle nods to typewriter era magazines.
Every layout was crafted to feel analog in a digital space — where content feels curated, not templated.
From flipping animations to scroll-based transitions, we ensured the user experience felt as fluid and surprising as the content itself. The entire site is mobile-optimized and built for fast load speeds, so ALT never sacrifices form for function.
We also created issue archives and featured story templates to help the ALT team scale as their readership grows.
