Brand identity that commands the first impression — built in Sarasota, FL.

Dinko Design builds brand identity systems and corporate brand guidelines for Sarasota businesses — logo, voice, visual language, applied assets, and the guidelines document that keeps them consistent across every touchpoint for years. A logo is not a brand.

Why us

A brand isn't a logo — it's a working system.

Most agencies hand you a PDF and disappear. We hand you a system you can actually use on Monday — and we stay to help you deploy it.

The Dinko brand approach

  • Discovery phase before pixels
  • 3 exploration directions, not 30
  • Living brand guidelines (Figma + PDF)
  • Ready-to-use templates on delivery
  • 12-month evolution support included

Typical branding projects

  • Logo-first, strategy-never
  • 50-page PDF that no one opens
  • "Mood boards" priced like design
  • No deployment support
  • Stock-photo brand reveal videos

Identity work

Brands and guideline systems we've actually built.

Ground-up identities, corporate guideline documents, and brand strategy work. Click any of them for the full case study.

The distinction that matters

Brand identity, brand guidelines — what's the difference?

A brand identity system is the full set of rules and assets that make a company recognizable — logo, color, typography, imagery, voice, and the templates that carry them. Brand guidelines are the document that makes those rules enforceable after the designer leaves. The distinction matters because the failure mode is always identical: a business buys a logo, and six months later the sign shop picks its own blue, a new hire builds the deck in Calibri, and the truck wrap uses a stretched JPEG. Nothing is technically wrong. Everything is slightly off. That drift is what makes a real company look smaller than it is.

Corporate brand guidelines earn their keep when a stranger can use them without calling you. That means logo clear-space and minimum-size rules, color specified four ways — HEX for screen, RGB, CMYK for print, and a Pantone match for signage and embroidery — a type scale with the licenses purchased in your name, and do/don't examples for the mistakes people actually make. We deliver ours as a live Figma library plus a PDF: the Figma because assets should be copyable, the PDF because vendors still ask for one. Then we keep it current for 12 months. A guidelines file that was accurate at launch and stale by spring is just a screenshot of an old decision.

Identity work here starts with strategy, not sketches — positioning, audience, and voice come before three exploration directions. Three, not thirty; thirty options means nobody committed to a point of view. If you need only the mark, logo design is scoped separately. If you already have a mark and need it extended into collateral, decks, packaging, and signage, that is graphic design systems. Identity is the first pillar of the Trust System™ because every pillar after it spends the credibility this one builds.

Most of this work comes from Sarasota and the Suncoast, though deliverables are digital and discovery runs over video, so geography rarely decides anything. Sequence does. If a rebrand and a new site are both on the table, settle the identity first — a website design project that begins before color and type are locked gets built twice. Systems start at $8,500, and every tier ships with the guidelines document. We don't sell logos without rules.

Dinko Design helped launch our business from its infancy. They took what was just a thought in my head, to a full-blown website and branding kit. Phenomenal look and so professional in my field that people can't believe we are a small business. We hear often that we must be bigger or a franchise because every detail of our brand is spot on.

Questions

The questions we actually get.

If yours isn't here, ask on the discovery call.

What do brand identity guidelines include?+
The guidelines document is the rulebook that keeps your brand consistent after we hand it off: logo usage and clear-space rules, the full color palette with print and digital values, typography hierarchy, imagery direction, voice and tone, and applied examples — business cards, proposals, vehicle wraps, social templates. It's built so anyone — a new hire, a print shop, a sign maker — can produce on-brand work without asking you.
How much do corporate brand guidelines cost in Sarasota, FL?+
Brand identity systems including the guidelines document start at $8,500 and typically take 4–5 weeks. Larger corporate guideline systems — multi-brand architecture, extended asset libraries — start at $18,500. Every tier includes the guidelines document; we don't sell logos without rules.
Can we just get a logo?+
Yes — but we'll push back. A logo without a system is a file, not a brand. Most "just a logo" requests end up costing more to deploy than the original quote saved. If you truly only need a logo, see our Logo Design service page.
How many concepts do we get to see?+
Three directional concepts in the Exploration phase. Not thirty. Thirty options means the designer hasn't committed to a point of view. We present three, explain the reasoning for each, and refine the one you choose.
Do we own the logo files and source?+
Yes. Always. You receive every file — AI, SVG, PNG, PDF, print-ready CMYK — plus the Figma source library. The typography licenses are purchased in your name. Non-negotiable.
What if we hate the first exploration round?+
That's why Discovery + Strategy come first. We've never had a client reject all three exploration concepts because we've already agreed on direction. If it happens, we do one additional round at no charge.
Can you rebrand without losing equity?+
Yes. Our Enterprise tier includes brand-architecture work specifically for this. We've handled rebrands with 10+ years of equity — the key is mapping what's worth preserving before touching the visual system.
Do you work with my industry?+
We specialize in service businesses — trades, medical, legal, professional B2B. We say no to consumer packaged goods, crypto, adult, and multi-level marketing. If we're outside your lane we'll refer you to someone we trust.
Do you build brand identities for businesses outside Sarasota?+
Yes. We're based in Sarasota, FL and most identity work comes from the Suncoast — Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice — but we've built brand systems for companies across Florida and nationally. Identity work travels well: Discovery calls run over video, and every deliverable is digital.
